Country Living with City Benefits

Submitted by: Kathy Moore Cloud - Boerne Office

San Antonio has been ranked the 7th largest city in America by many sources. And despite becoming a recently discovered locale, many outlying communities are growing by leaps and bounds as the preferred residential area. Communities such as Fair Oaks Ranch, Boerne, Pipe Creek, and Bandera are realizing previously unprecedented growth. It seems our new neighbors are attracted to the structure of city life as far as jobs go, whether employee or employer, but prefer to enjoy the country life with an easy commute to work. There's still plenty of large tracts of land for sale in the Hill Country. For example, a 47 acre property with a spring fed pond, barn and cabin already set with a well and a septic system sounds like a great start for a new Hill Country resident. Or, how about a secluded 60 acre property with several interesting levels for other buildings in addition to the existing home? One can enjoy the views from their quiet porch before heading to the city in the morning and upon return in the evening- now that's country living with city benefits!
